Introductory Team
Our Introductory Team allows skaters to get started on their TOI of Boston journey without the necessity to have testing requirements met before joining the TOI of Boston program. The season is split into three sessions of either 11, 10 or 9 weeks with the opportunity for the team to perform at the Junior Activities Committee Holiday Pageant in December, a March program performance and at the TOI of Boston National Send-Off in June. We will also have U.S. Figure Skating Officials visiting from time to time throughout the season to look at the team and offer critiques, with an option to exhibition at the Compete USA on June 8, 2024. A skater can opt in for all three sessions or just choose to do one session. Skaters learn how to work in a team environment, follow choreography, and learn the basics of the performance skills, plus learn how to work with props. There are various off-ice team building activities planned throughout the year too.
