Junior Team
Act I of Boston is The Skating Club of Boston’s junior Theatre On Ice team. The team is comprised of successful regional, sectional and national competitors as well as skaters who have proven themselves to be outstanding performers. Act I is a preparation team for those looking to enhance their performance skills to a professional level. Founded in 2001, Act I is full of history. The team has won several senior national and international titles (before moving to the junior level) including the silver medal at the 2017 National Theatre On Ice Competition, the gold medal at the 2014 National Theatre On Ice Competition, in Dearborn, Michigan and most notably their first Senior gold medal win in 2005 at the International Theatre On Ice Competition in Burlington, Vermont. 2019 marks the 18th competitive season for Act I of Boston of which they claimed the National Champion title at the 2019 National Theatre On Ice Competition and silver medal at the 2019 Nations’ Cup in Epinal, France.
